<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission system for attaining smooth communication, even when languages used by a seller and a purchaser are different, in case of merchandizing articles via a network line. <P>SOLUTION: This data transmission system 100 includes a terminal device 200, an automatic translation system 300, and a network 400. The terminal device is input with a data expressed by the first language, and the data is transmitted from the terminal device to the automatic translation system. The automatic translation system translates the data expressed by the first language into the data expressed by at least the second language different from the first language.
