ELECTRONIC COMPONENT MOUNTING HEAD, AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENT MOUNTING DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sucking/holding force for an electronic component by a suction nozzle by increasing the cross-sectional area of a vacuum passage of an electronic component mounting head as much as possible to increase a flow rate in the vacuum passage.

SOLUTION: This electronic component mounting head 16 is provided with: a nozzle support 20 holding the suction nozzle 15 at a position decentered from its center; a motor 24 rotatably driving the nozzle support by using the center as a rotational axis; and an air supply passage and the vacuum passage communicating with the suction nozzle through an air changeover valve 36. The air supply passage communicates with an air supply source from a side surface of the nozzle support 20, and the vacuum passage communicates with a vacuum source through a passage 67 formed at the center part of the nozzle support.
