PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article excellent in wear feeling and leakage prevention performance.SOLUTION: A narrow central opening 5 and a pair of narrow side openings 6, 6, which extend in a longitudinal direction X, are formed in a lower layer absorbent core 231. An upper layer absorbent core 230 and the central opening 5 overlap with each other in a plane view. The central opening 5 extends over the entire length of the upper layer absorbent core 230 in the longitudinal direction X. In the upper layer absorbent core 230, an opening penetrating the upper layer absorbent core 230 in a thickness direction and extending in the longitudinal direction X is not formed in an area where the lower layer absorbent core 231 overlaps with the central opening 5 in the plane view. A pair of solid gathers 24, 24 are provided on a skin facing surface side at both right and left side parts of an absorbent core 23. In a plane view under a spread and stretched state of an absorbent article 1, solid gather formation elastic members 26 and the absorbent core 23 overlap with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
