PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object and an apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object, by which a three-dimensional molded object can be efficiently manufactured with high dimensional accuracy, and a three-dimensional molded object manufactured with high dimensional accuracy.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a three-dimensional molded object comprises stacking layers 1 to manufacture a three-dimensional molded object, and the method includes: a layer forming step of forming the layer 1 by discharging a curable ink from an ink discharge unit 11 that discharges the curable ink to a molding unit 101 having a molding surface for molding three-dimensional molded object, while moving the ink discharge unit 11 in a main scanning direction relative to the molding unit 101; a first moving step of rotating the molding unit 11 around an axis in a direction intersecting the molding surface; a second moving step of moving the molding unit in a direction intersecting the molding surface.
