PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system capable of inhibiting a delay in initiation of rendering processing due to cache retrieval, and performing variable printing with the rendering processing speeded up.SOLUTION: An information processing system of the present invention includes a data production device that produces variable data, and a rendering device that renders the variable data. A first data retention unit of the data production device links the produced variable data with identification information, with which the variable data is identified, and retains the linkage as a first relationship of association. A first data management unit manages the first relationship of association on the basis of a predetermined management method. A cache retrieval unit retrieves predetermined variable data from the first relationship of association. If the predetermined variable data exists in the first relationship of association, a cache hit decision unit decides that rendering data resulting from rendering of the variable data is cached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
