Provided is an absorbent article comprising an absorbent body (10) that absorbs liquid, a top sheet (20) that covers the absorbent body in the thickness direction thereof from the skin side of a wearer, and a back sheet (30) that covers the absorbent body (10) in the thickness direction thereof from the side that is not the skin side of the wearer. The absorbent article is provided with side flaps (50) that extend outward from both side sections of the absorbent body (10) in the width direction thereof. Predetermined regions of the side flaps are coated with a cooling sensation agent. When the side flaps (50) are folded toward the center in the width direction so that the skin-side surface of the top sheet (20) covering the absorbent body (10) faces the skin-side surfaces of the side flaps (50) in the thickness direction, the predetermined regions of the side flaps (50) that are coated with the cooling sensation agent do not overlap in the thickness direction with a central line in the width direction of the absorbent body (10). |
