摘要 Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for estimating hybrid elevation angle radar rainfall. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a step of generating a ground echo map with the minimum elevation angle, not influenced by a ground echo, by using a single polarization radar reflection material; a step of generating a beam shielding mask with the maximum elevation angle, not influenced by beam shielding; a step of generating a hybrid high elevation mask by combining the generated ground echo map with the beam shielding mask; and a step of estimating rainfall through the generated hybrid high elevation mask. Accordingly, the method minimizes an error caused by the ground echo and the beam shielding, thereby correctly estimating the rainfall.
