Disclosed are a vehicle bumper beam and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle bumper beam includes: a bumper beam manufactured by curving an aluminum-extruded material at a predetermined curvature, and forming at least one closed section inside; and a fiber complex member inserted into the closed section of the bumper beam in a longitudinal direction to be placed in a central part, and stiffened and fixed inside the closed section of the bumper beam. Moreover, the manufacturing method thereof includes: a complex member inserting member of inserting the fiber complex member into the central part of the closed section of the bumper beam manufactured through aluminum extrusion; a bending step of forming the fiber complex member and the bumper beam at the same time at a predetermined curvature; and a stiffening step of heating the bumper beam, including the fiber complex member, in an oven to stiffen and fix the fiber complex member inside the closed section of the bumper beam. |
