PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil device that protects a core against cracking or the like and has a satisfactory cooling characteristic when used as a relatively large transformer or the like.SOLUTION: An E core 12 has a middle leg 14 and a base 13 separated by split surfaces 12b, 12b of a separate pair of split cores 12a, 12a such that a pair of side legs 16 is formed in the split cores 12a, 12a, respectively. A heat radiation sheet 15 is interposed in at least part of an interface between the split surfaces 12b, 12b, and the middle leg 14 separated via the heat radiation sheet 15 is inserted in a through hole 44a of a bobbin 40. |
