PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of easily changing a type and the amount of a fire retardant additive and making high-pressure gas produced inside fire-retardant by efficiently bringing the fire retardant additive into contact.SOLUTION: A power storage module 20 is a power storage device including a power storage unit having an explosion-proof valve 3 for releasing high-pressure gas in a power storage case when the pressure in the power storage case rises, and a fire retardant additive for making the high-pressure gas fire-retardant, the fire retardant additive being charged in a cartridge type container 11. The cartridge type container has a gas intake 12 for letting the high-pressure gas flow in the container, and opens the gas intake with the pressure of the high-pressure gas when the explosion-proof valve 3 is opened to bring the high-pressure gas and fire retardant additive into contact with each other in the cartridge type container. The cartridge type container includes a gas flow passage in which the fire retardant additive is disposed in a labyrinth state. When the high-pressure gas circulates in the gas flow passage, the fire retardant additive is efficiently brought into contact with the high-pressure gas, which is made fire-retardant. |
