PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational method of a melting furnace capable of effectively adjusting basicity of slag adhered in the melting furnace.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an operational method of a melting furnace [15] comprising a melting step of flowing slag forming substances distributed in a plurality of particle diameter regions for each of which a particular range of particle diameter is specified, through an input [21a] into a furnace main body [20] and melting the slag forming substances by igniting combustible gas at the furnace main body [20]; and a conditioner supplying step of supplying a basicity conditioner capable of adjusting basicity of slag [S] adhered in the furnace main body [20], into the furnace main body [20]. At the conditioner supplying step, a plurality of types of conditioners by region each having a particle diameter falling within the range of particle diameter set in the corresponding particle diameter region and containing components capable of maintaining the basicity of the slag [S] formed by melting the slag forming substances belonging to the corresponding region within a prescribed range, as basicity conditioners, are supplied into the furnace main body [20] through the input [21a].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
