PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the difficulty in handling a roll sheet in initial setting of a roll sheet transport device that can use an inward wound roll sheet and an outer wound roll sheet and comprises a back tension mechanism as some transport paths are different for kinds of roll sheet.SOLUTION: A back tension mechanism includes: a shaft 49 which rotates in synchronism with rotation of a roll sheet; a tension plate 46 which is connected to the shaft 49 through a torque limiter 47 and rotates coaxially; a guide 50 which holds the shaft 49 rotatably; first and second bracket assemblies 43 and 44 which are held rotatably on the shaft 49 and receive turning force thereof as the tension plate 46 rotates; and a torsion spring 45 which energizes the first and second bracket assemblies 43 and 44 in opposite directions. The guide 50 comprises oval holes 55 and 56 which individually restrict respective rotation ranges of the first and second bracket assemblies 43 and 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
