A white polyester film which comprises a polyester and white particles having an average primary-particle diameter of 0.20-0.40 µm, the content of the white particles being 1.0-5.0 mass% with respect to the total mass of the film, and in which, in a cross-section of the film, the proportion of aggregates having a particle diameter, as measured in the direction parallel to the film plain direction, of 0.40-0.80 µm is 10-20% by number with respect to the total number of the primary particles and aggregates of the white particles dispersed in the film, the white polyester film having a terminal carboxyl concentration of 6-30 eq/ton; a process for producing the white polyester film; a back sheet for solar cells; and a solar cell module. |
