The automotive transmission main gear master differential comprises a spider (1) fitted on splines of a drive shaft (2). The shaft (2) on one side is fitted in a bearing (3) arranged in a main gear case (4) of the transmission main gear, and, on the opposite side it is fitted in a bearing (5) arranged in a bore of a half-axle gear (6) mounted on a bearing (7) fitted in the case (4). Differential pinions (8) run on tenons of the spider (1), a solid cup (11) is mounted at spherical surfaces thereof. Differential pinions (8) interact, on one side, with the half-axle gear (6) and, on the other side, with a half-axle gear (9) made integral with a drive spur gear (10) installed on the drive shaft (2). The internal bore of a half-axle gear (9) has two ring grooves (12) at edges, in which sealing rings (13) are inserted, and a spiral groove (14) therebetween with grease. Such design made it possible to increase the device life. |
