Coupling for eccentric helical rotor pump - has mutually perpendicular bolts held in ball bearings in coupling halves

The pump has a helical screw rotor turning eccentrically in a rubber stator with a female helical screw bore. The rotor is driven from a shaft which is concentric to the stator through a coupling to the eccentric rotor. The coupling has two identical halves (11, 12) which are joined by a pair of bolts (15, 16) perpendicular to each other and slide in each other. Each bolt is held in a pair of bearings (13, 14) in its coupling half. Each bearing has a bore (22) with a longitudinal slot (23) as wide as the bolt to allow axial insertion of the bolt. The bore (22) contains a bush (24) which supports the cage (26) of a hall bearing. The coupling will transmit axial forces.
