The device comprises a body (10) fitted with a nasal adaptor (12) and in which there is housed a reservoir (20) containing microcapsules holding a volatile active principle. A rotating grinding member (38) at the lower part of the reservoir crushes the microcapsules against a part of the internal wall of the reservoir. A wheel (46) allows the grinding member (38) to be driven in rotation. In the circular base of the wheel, a plurality of orifices (58, 60) is pierced in order to allow air to enter into contact with the active principle coming from the crushed microcapsules and to allow the mixture thus formed to reach the nasal adaptor (12). This device is of use in treating disorders of the airways such as coryza and sinusitis. <IMAGE> |
