<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent unauthorized utilization of data concerning components of signal processing while maintaining convenience and operability of a system. <P>SOLUTION: As to an architecture of acoustic signal processing, a mixer system provided with an editing device for editing by specifying a combination of two or more components, and a mixer engine having a DSP for processing an acoustic signal according to the signal processing composition edited by the editing device, is arranged so as to inhibit the above mixer engine from processing the acoustic signal including protected components (S72 to S74) when the above mixer engine does not store a predetermined release key, and so as to release the inhibition (S73) when the above mixer engine stores the predetermined release key.
