<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stratified air flow control type air cleaner capable of sufficiently securing a capacity of smokers in a smoking room, capable of widening an effective suction area, not affecting other smokers, easily clearing standards of harmful gas, and capable of retaining merits of a foundation characteristic of a simplified smoking area having free adit. <P>SOLUTION: Suction opening parts 4 for air are provided on a whole cylindrical wall circumference of a body 3 lower part erected on a trestle. A blowout face part 6 blowing out air as a planar uniform flow 5 more to an outer side than the suction opening parts 4 is provided on a wall face of the body 3 higher than the suction opening parts 4. An air cleaner 4 is provided in the body 3 between the suction opening parts 4 and the blowout face part 6 in a downstream side. Clean air is blown out from the blowout face part 6 as the planar uniform flow 5 more to the outer side than the suction opening parts 4. Air is sucked in from the suction opening parts 4, a pressure difference is generated between the planar uniform flow 5 and the sucked in air, and an air flow 8 is formed heading from the planar uniform flow 5 toward the suction opening parts 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
