A device for the assembly of groups of plates for accumulators, having an endless conveyor chain (1) for pairs of plates following one another at intervals, which pairs of plates consist in each case of a plate which is inserted into a separator and an opposing plate, located above it, the conveyance plane being arranged higher than the conveyance plane of an endless conveyor belt (5), connected downstream from the conveyor chain in the conveyance direction, for holding the plate at the end of a group which is supplied from a magazine and/or for holding a pair of plates which consists of an inserted plate and an opposing plate and is supplied by the conveyor chain (1), whereas the conveyance plane of an endless discharge conveyor belt (12), connected downstream in the conveyance direction, for forming a group of plates and for discharging the same, is located lower than the conveyance plane of the conveyor belt (5), and stop devices (10, 13) being provided for the plates (3, 4, 6) or plate sets (15) in the movement range of both the conveyor belt (5) and the discharge conveyor belt (12). …<IMAGE>… |
