<p>PURPOSE:To enable rapid data conversion without changing controllers by providing a scanning conversion circuit that receives serial image signals of bits and build the received serial image signals into drive signals for each of groups consisting of specified bits, and by outputting in series the drive signals for each of the groups from the scanning conversion circuit to an image-forming head. CONSTITUTION:A scanning conversion circuit 30b receives, under control by a control circuit 30c, image signals of 3n dot for one line from a controller during the period of electrification of a piezoelectric element 200, and makes scanning conversion, during the period of electric discharge, to a first group consisting of dot signals on (3l-2)th, to a second group consisting of dot signals on (3l-1), and to a third group consisting of dot signals on 3lth. Then, the dot signals of the first group are sent to an LED head 12 while the head is in the position of -1 pixel, and the dot signals of the second group are sent when the head comes to the position of 0 pixel, and the dot signals of the third group are sent when the head comes to the position of +1 pixel, and thereby n pieces LED's 120 are driven three times.</p> |
