PURPOSE:To manufacture a paste type nickel electrode in which the binding property between active material particles is improved without losing the filling efficiency of an active material paste to a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A spherical nickel hydroxide, the water, and a PTFE dispersion are mixed and kneaded to prepare an active material paste by reducing the collision and the friction of nickel hydroxide particles each other in the mixing and kneading work, without making the PTFE into a fiber. Such an active material paste is filled in a conductive substrate and dried, and then rolled by a roller press to manufacture a paste type nickel electrode. |
