<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a precursor lipocyte differentiation inhibitor useful for the prevention of obesity. <P>SOLUTION: One or more kinds of extracts of plants selected from Cassia obtusifolia, Platycodon grandiflorum, Phellodendron amurense, Sophora flavescens, Evodia rutaecarpa, Lonicera japonica, Cassia torosa, Glehnia littoralis and Areca catechu are used as a precursor lipocyte differentiation inhibitor.
