<p>PURPOSE:To stably and efficiently treat waste water by using this microbial reaction tank. CONSTITUTION:One or more air-lift pipes 4 to which an air diffuser pipe 5 is opened are provided at the bottom of the reaction tank 1, plural horizontal plates 2 are furnished above the pipe 4, and >=1 communicating pipes 3 are allowed to pierce the plate 2. Air is blown in from the pipe 5 to form an air layer 10 under the horizontal plate, and an immobilized microbe carrier 6 having <=1 sp.gr. is held at the boundary between the air layer and water layer. The immobilized microbe is passed through the communicating pipe 3 from the boundary, successively passed through the horizontal plates 2 above, sent to the water surface and then circulated through a downward current part 7.</p> |
