<p>PURPOSE:To provide the title device capable of accurately correcting many writing elements (LED) to desired positions even when there is irregularity in the positions of said elements and capable of preventing the color shift of a color image. CONSTITUTION:The more number of respective elements (LED 63) are formed at the same interval with respect to the number of output dots in order to be arranged on ideal vertical reference lines A, B.... The LEDs 63 nearest to the vertical reference lines A, B... are selectively detected to be driven. By this method, the lateral direction (arranging direction) of the LEDs 63 can be corrected. Further, the distances between the respective selected LEDs 63 and a lateral reference line (d) are measured and the operation timings of the LEDs 63 are changed by the times corresponding to the measured distances. By this constitution, the correction of an LED array 61 in the vertical direction (crossing the arranging direction) can be performed.</p> |
