<p>PURPOSE:To provide a car headlamp leveling device having simple formation by canceling an error accompanied with the out of step state of a pulse motor to change the optical axis level of a car headlamp, and facilitating the adjustment of the original aiming value of the optical axis level of the headlamp. CONSTITUTION:A set signal of an optical axis level establishing device is received to drive a pulse motor 15 for displacing an optical axis changing rod member 21, and the inclination in the longitudinal direction of a car of a car headlamp 2 supported on a car body 28 is changed by the optical axis changing rod member 21 to establish the optical axis level of the car headlamp 2 to the optical axis level established by the optical axis level establishing device. The integrated error, caused by the pulse motor being out of step, of the optical axis level of the headlamp 2 is canceled by making the engaging projection 21b of the optical axis changing rod member 21 engage with the stopper parts 33a, 33b of a reference optical axis level prescribing member 33 to prescribe the moving range of the optical axis changing rod member 21.</p> |
