<p>PURPOSE:To provide a car headlamp leveling device which is simple and compact in structure and few in the number of parts, and moreover low in manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION:An electric motor 21 is driven correspondingly to a signal established by an optical axis level establishing device 12 to change the inclination in the longitudinal direction of a car of car headlamps 2L, 2R supported on a car body through a rod member 23 for establishing the optical axis levels of the car headlamps 2L, 2R to the optical axis level established by the device 12. A driving control circuit 22 compares a detection signal detected by an optical axis level detecting means VR1 with the set signal of the optical axis level issued from the optical axis level establishing device to drive the electric motor 21 so that both the above signals may coincide mutually. An initial optical axis level establishing means VR2 changes a signal issued from the optical axis level establishing device 12 in a state where the optical axis level establishing device 12 is set at a optical axis level position to adjust the optical axis level of the headlamps 2L, 2R to a predetermined initial aiming value.</p> |
