<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of the slide torque in the case where a turning member such as shift lever is operated, by reducing the slide contact resistance of a sealing member, securing the necessary sealing performance in a slide movable part. CONSTITUTION:A sealing member is installed between a supporting shaft 4 installed on a bearing member 5 and a rotary member 1 which is supported in turnable manner through a housing 3 on the supporting shaft 4. A sealing part 12 is formed along the peripheral edge at the edge part of a body 11 which is formed to a cylindrical form. A lip part 13 formed on the outside surface of the sealing part 12 is set into slide contact with the bearing member 5, and the inside surface 14 of the sealing part 12 is set into slide contact with the housing 3. A recessed part 15 is formed on the inside surface of the sealing part 12, and the rigidity of the sealing part 12 is reduced by a certain degree.</p> |
