The invention relates to heat energy engineering, in particular to contact heat-exchange devices and can be used for designing, building and modernising ventilator, radiator or evaporation cooling towers. The inventive method for cooling in a water cooling tower consists in carrying out a combined cooling air supply inside the tower by producing natural and mechanical draft, said mechanical draft being produced only inside the central area of the cooling tower. In addition to the natural draft, a second airflow is formed in the peripherial area by injecting it by means of the airflow of the central area of the tower. The mechanical cooling airflow rate is maintained within the range of 5.0-30.0 % of the total rate thereof. The inventive water cooling tower comprises an extraction tower (1) provided with a water distribution system (5) and a spray cooler arranged therein. Said extraction tower (1) also comprises a ventilator cooling tower (2) which is axially arranged therein and provided with a ventilator (6) and with a nozzle (4) and an ejector (3) which are mounted at the exit thereof. |
