<p>PURPOSE: To reproduce signals from a tape automatically even when any video recording is adopted for the tape by using a video memory whose capacity is enough to store two fields so as to convert mutually the system of TV standard signals. CONSTITUTION: In the case of converting 50 fields into 60 fields, line memories 190, 200 are used to convert 625 lines into 525 lines and the result is written in a video memory 210. In the case of reading, signals are read matching the synchronization of a synchronizing signal generator 130 that generates a vertical synchronizing signal V-sync, a horizontal synchronizing signal H-sync by 60 fields, and in the case of the process converting 5 fields into 6 fields, a signal of one field is read while reading a signal of 5th field in duplicate. The system of the standard TV signals is mutually converted by using the video memory whose capacity is enough to store two fields, and signals recorded on a tape are automatically reproduced even when the recording system is one of the NTSC, PAL, SECAM, M-PLA, N-PLA.</p> |
