PURPOSE:To save effort for matching a plurality of processing systems by a method where a signal which has been output earlier in a time-series manner is stored, another signal is then generated by a time-series formation means, both signals are operated and distance information is detected. CONSTITUTION:A distance-measuring information generation means 1 outputs, in a time sharing manner, a first distance-measuring signal and a second distance- measuring signal which are changed so as to depend on the distance of objects whose distance is to be measured such as two photodetectors or the like. Its first output is sent to a signal processing circuit 3 by a control means 2. According to the kind of information or to a time sharing mode, the output of the processing circuit 3 is sent to, and held by, a storage means 5 by a switch means 4 controlled by the control means 2. Then, the second output of the information generation means 1 is sent to the processing circuit 3 by being controlled by the control means 2. By the switch 4 which is changed over by the control means 2, the output of the processing circuit 3 is sent to an operation means 6 without the intermediary of the storage means 5, and it is operated together with a signal stored by the storage means 5. By a distance judgment means, its operated result is sent to a later stage as judged distance information. |
