PURPOSE:To make it possible to decide reliably the abnormal attitude, which is sucked on a taking-out nozzle, of an electronic component. CONSTITUTION:When a suction nozzle 14 sucked with a chip component 5 comes being moved to a detection position on a line sensor 27, an output of the sensor 27 is read out in a CPU 31, the position of lower end of the component is calculated, the calculated position is read in a fetch-in memory 38, the read-in position is compared with the position in a hold memory 39, the position of the lower end of the component 5 is stored by the memory 39, this operation is repeated, the abnormal attitude of the component 5 is decided by the CPU 31 from the position of the lowest end of the memory 39 and an appropriate action is taken. |
