PURPOSE:To more correctly perform an image display in a VR (a virtual reality) device. CONSTITUTION:In a device provided with a display 2 displaying an image based on a signal from a host computer 1 such as a personal computer, a work station, a viewing device 12 passing an image for a right eye and an image for a left eye displayed on the display 2 through respective eyes of an operator and input means 9, 11 inputting the operation of the operator into the host computer 1, the device is provided with a position measuring means detecting the head position or the eye-position and the operating position of the operator, an arithmetic means calculating a distance between pupils of the operator baced on positional information by the position measuring means and a display position calculating means calculating a spacing between images for the right and left eyes based on the distance between pupils calculated by the arithmetic means.
