PURPOSE:To make tensile strength of a fusing portion uniform by heating a cylinder with an end core wire aligned state inside of the cylinder by means of guides, by a heater, for thermal contraction. CONSTITUTION:When an electric wire W, the tip of which has been peeled off previously, is introduced from large-diameter sides of guide surfaces of correspondent guides 30, 40, it is introduced inside of a cylinder held by a cylinder holder 20, to be brought into contact with the cylinder at the center thereof in a center aligned state. Upon completion of the center alignment, a heating switch 703 of a controller 70 is turned on so that a hot air heater 501 of a heater 50 is operated to heat supplied air up to a predetermined temperature. When the supplied air is heated up to the predetermined temperature, the heater 501 is driven downward by an air cylinder 502, to open an opening/closing cover of an external member so as to approach the cylinder. The heater 501 discharges heated air for a preset time, to heat the cylinder for thermal contraction. |
