HEAVY OIL DECOMPOSING MICROORGANISM

摘要

PURPOSE:To decompose and remove hardly decomposable heavy oil by acting a specific strain having heavy oil-decomposing activity on heavy oil. CONSTITUTION:A new strain having decomposing activity against heavy oil, Rhodococcus sp. I-15-1 strain (FERM P-14272) is made to act on heavy oil. This method is useful for dealing with e.g. marine pollution caused by heavy oil.
