PURPOSE:To ensure high surface smoothness without deteriorating a product by flattening a tubularly extruded parison and transferring mirror surface simultaneously, closing the die farther downward, and producing a noncircular planar double wall product through blow-molding. CONSTITUTION:A parison 2 extruded from a die head 1 is rolled between a guide 3 and a mirror finished roll 4 thence introduced to the roll parts of the mirror finished roll 4 and a guide roll 7. The mirror finished surface is transferred by the pressure load of the mirror finished roll 4 conditioned to an appropriate temperature while eliminating the extrusion flaw, e.g. a die line. When the parison 2 is introduced subsequently into a die 5, the parison is pinched at the forward end part thereof between the roll 4 and the die 5. An appropriate quantity of air is then preliminarily fed into the parison 2 in order to shape the parison 2 optimally while preventing the wall face of the flattened parison 2 from adhering. Finally, the die 5 is closed and pressurized air is blown into the parison 2 thus obtaining a molding having desired shape. |
