PURPOSE:To provide a safe plastic clay having a relatively low softening temperature (40-60 deg.C) and composed of a resin composition produced by blending a chlorinated polyethylene to a polycaprolactone resin at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective clay is composed of a resin composition produced by blending (A) a polycaprolactone resin (preferably a blended resin of a polymer having a relative viscosity of 1.15-1.50 and a polymer having a relative viscosity of 1.50-2.80) with (B) a chlorinated polyethylene (preferably an amorphous polymer having a chlorine content of 25-45%) at a weight ratio of 50/50-95/5. The composition is preferably further incorporated with a higher fatty acid metal salt such as calcium stearate. |
