The profile (20) can be fitted into a frame profile (2) groove (11), or a slot (10) in the rebate bead (6) flank (9). It consists of a foamed sealing sleeve (21) and an extruded retainer (22) fitted with retaining lips (24) on both sides. The profile's shape enables it to be laid round the corners of the frame without catches or the like. The width (b) of the profile measured before assembly is at most 1.5 times its thickness (d), and once installed it projects at most 2 mm beyond the bead towards the inside of the frame.
