PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the pedal reaction force corresponding to a petal stroke, by comprising an elastic member for generating reaction force, of which one end is connected with a fixed part to a vehicle, and the other end is connected with an input rod or a brake pedal. SOLUTION: When the actuation of a brake pedal 25 is released, a valve plunger 26 is moved backward by a spring 44, a seal part 30 of a control valve 31 is moved backward by the valve plunger 26, the seal part 30 of the control valve 31 is separated from a seal part 29 of a cylindrical member 16, and a rear chamber 19 is communicated with a front chamber 18. Thereby the air in the rear chamber 19 is exhausted through the front chamber 18 by the negative pressure source, the pressure of the rear chamber 19 is lowered, and the boosting power of a power piston 17 is reduced, thereby the power piston 17 and an output rod 40 are integrally moved backward by the reaction force from a master cylinder 41. |
