<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording material which shows excellent flatness, high quality-image formation, especially, high glossiness, further, favorable ink absorption in case an ink acceptance layer is formed, and can effectively inhibit the generation of a blur of an image formed over time. <P>SOLUTION: This image recording material has at least a coloring material acceptance layer formed on a support and also at least one layer containing an ultrafine particle inorganic compound with an index of refraction of not less than 1.9 and an average particle diameter of not more than 100 nm, formed between the support and the coloring material acceptance layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
