PIPE-FORMING METAL BAND PLATE, CORRUGATED STEEL PIPE USING THE BAND PLATE, AND CORRUGATED STEEL PIPE-ARMORED CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a corrugated steel pipe-armored cable using a highly anticorrosive corrugated steel pipe inserted thereinto at a large yield. SOLUTION: A pipe-forming metal band plate is manufactured by partly tin-plating a steel plate 15 such that a multitude of tin chips 16 disperses in the surface, forming a thin metal chromium layer 17 over the tin chips 16 and the non-tip-plated portion and forming a thin chromium hydrated oxide layer 18 over the metal chromium layer 17 such that a multitude of tin-coated projections 19 using the tin chips 16 as the cores is formed over the surface. The metal band plate thus formed is used for the manufacture of a corrugated steel pipe 12 and a corrugated steel pipe-armored cable 10.
