PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out a honing to maintain a good cutting quality long, of a haircut scissors by using a simple apparatus, even by an unskilled person. SOLUTION: To the side part 1a of an edge honing tool main body 1, and to the rear side of the side part 1a, the cutting edge S of haircut scissors is held to the tip of a holding plate 2 pivoted through a holding spring 3, by directing its rear side upward, a honing angle regulating tool 6 having a grindstone fitting surface which consists of an eccentric outward circular surface is installed rotatable, the grindstone fitting surface and the edge tip are fitted to a grindstone W, and it is moved on the surface of the grindstone W while regulating the honing angle, so as to hone the edge surface. To a rotatable edge rear side honing guide 8 having an edge rear side honing rod fitting surface which consists of an eccentric outer circular surface, provided at the upper end of the vertical part of the main body, and to the rear side of the edge tip finishing the honing of the edge surface, another edge rear side honing rod H is fitted by holding in the hand, and the edge rear side is honed lightly while sliding it laterally. |
