<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost and simple fuel cell system for extending effective process life of a high grade apparatus which decreases impurity concentration of a coolant of a fuel cell, and for reducing the number of power equipment such as a pump which assists the movement of condensed water. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system relating to the present invention includes a fuel cell 1, a condensed water tank 6 for storing water recovered from gas discharged from the fuel cell 1, a cooling medium tank 3 for storing the cooling medium made to flow in the fuel cell 1, and a supplying pipe 5 for connecting the condensed water tank 6 and the cooling medium tank 3. Further, a part of the condensed water stored in the condensed water tank 6 is supplied to the cooling medium tank 3 via the supplying pipe 5 by the difference between the level of the condensed water stored in the condensed water tank 6 and the level of the cooling medium stored in the cooling medium tank 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
