The invention refers to a work head transformer designed to equip high frequency heating installations. According to the invention, the transformer is characterised by the fact that, for a better stiffening of the secondary terminals (2) a stiffener (6) is introduced between them, following tightly the contour of the case caps (4), which ensures a better encapsulation in the epoxy resin mass and reduces the stresses transmitted to the resin during frequent mounting and dismounting of the working inductor.
