A multi-purpose, multi-function tool (10) of compact design made up of a plurality of components having levels thereon which interact together to provide a single tool which can perform a number of various functions or purposes within the design or construction industry. The tool (10) having a support (12) of predetermined thickness and being of a substantially triangular-shaped configuration defining a pair of legs (A, B) and a hypotenuse (16). An edge member (56) is situated on one of the legs of said support structure (12), the edge member (56) being of a predetermined thickness greater than the predetermined thickness of the support structure (12) for supporting the support structure on a surface. A rotatable member (14) is pivotally mounted on the support structure (12) for selective rotational movement wiht respect thereto and a curved extension (28) protruding from the rotatable member (14) having degree (54) and rise (52) markings thereon. A locking mechanism (36) is operably interconnected with the curved extension (28) to hold the curved extension and rotatable member (14) in a selected position with respect to the support structure (12).
