An agricultural spreader comprises a wheeled chassis (12) and a bin (18) mounted on the chassis. A vibrator (40) is arranged inside the bin (18) and mounted on the bin structure via resiliently flexible mountings (68). The vibrator has a base structure (41), an out-of-balance rotor (52) mounted on the base structure, and a hydraulic motor (64) for rotating the rotor. The base structure includes a pair of cross members (42) and a plurality of hollow, round section tubes (44.1 ... 44.5) which span the distance between the cross members and, in the case of some of then, extend beyond the corresponding cross members. Vibration of the vibrator is coupled to particulate material in the bin and, when the particulate material in the bin is at a high level, via the particulate material to the bin structure. When the particulate material in the bin is at a low level the resilient mountings to a degree isolate vibration of the base structure from the bin structure.
