PURPOSE: A boundary stone for footway and roadway using a slate and method for manufacturing the boundary stone is provided to maintain a stable strength in a boundary surface of the boundary stone and to maintain an outer width of the boundary stone wider. CONSTITUTION: A boundary stone for footway and roadway using a slate and method for manufacturing the boundary stone includes a first slate finishing material(7), a second slate finishing material(11) and a reinforcing material. The first slate finishing material has a first slate rod(3) attached on both upper ends of a lower supporter slate(1) with a binder. The second slate finishing material has an end bonded to an end of the first slate finishing material and the other end having a second slate rod(9) attached on an upper surface. The reinforcing material is poured in a space between the first and second slate finishing materials to form a boundary stone for footway and roadway.
