<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge polishing device capable of increasing operation speed by increasing the feed speed of a plate to be machined. SOLUTION: This edge polishing device used for a machine for machining the edge of the plate, particularly a glass plate, is provided with at least one grinding wheel 2 arranged at the edge of the plate to be machined. The grinding wheel 2 is arranged inside a rotating member 3 provided with a rotatable cage formed of a plurality of rollers 4 arranged on the circumference. A support means 10 is provided for supporting the grinding wheel 2, and the support means 10 has a first rocking shaft 11 and a second rocking shaft 13 arranged away from each other with respect to the grinding wheel 2, so as to be substantially almost vertical to the advance face of the plate.</p> |
