PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of the mist of a treatment liquid or a substance insolubilized by the liquid on the discharge of the head of ink or the treatment liquid in printing with the use of the ink and the treatment liquid for insolubilizing the ink. SOLUTION: In the arrangement of the treatment liquid head 101S for discharging the treatment liquid for insolubilizing the ink with ink discharging heads 101Bk, 101C, 101M, and 101Y, with regard to the conveyance direction A of printing paper 103, the treatment liquid head 101S and the black ink head 101Bk adjoining head 101S on the downstream side of the head 101S are arranged at a prescribed interval which is larger than the intervals between other adjacent heads. In this way, since the mist generated by the discharge of the treatment liquid head is diffused in a space formed by the prescribed interval to be moved upward, the mist is prevented from reaching the discharge opening surface of the head 101Bk to cause defective discharge by the insolubilized substance. |
