<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an easily treatable palladium powder whose particle size in large by reducing a chloride complex of palladium from an aqueous solution containing the chloride complex of palladium by a wet method. SOLUTION: Aqueous ammonia is added to a chloride solution containing a dichlorodiamminepalladium complex to control its pH to 7.5 to 8.0. After that, a reducing agent such as hydrazine, hydrazine hydrate, hydrazine hydrochloride and hydrazine sulfate is added to the solution. The chloride complex of palladium is reduced by a wet method. In this way, the palladium powder whose particle size is larger than that of the palladium powder obtained by the conventional wet method and having low adherability can economically be produced.</p> |
