<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exemplify air-conditioning wherein high density waste heart from any communication instrument is locally processed, and space saving and energy saving are ensured as a whole. SOLUTION: A local cooling apparatus 12 is installed at upper portion of a passage space section 1 extending between rack trains L1, L2 of racks L on which any communication instrument 5 is mounted. An opening 6a is provided in a side surface of the rack L, and an air fan 4 is provided at an upper portion of the rack L. Low temperature air conditioning air from the local cooling apparatus 12 is taken into the rack L from the inside of the opening 6a and waste heat from the communication instrument 5 is locally processed. Fan air energy is more reduced than in prior part whereby no variations of an effective floor area in a communication instrument chamber R are eliminated.</p> |
